My consulting approach is based on the Business Enterprise Architecture. But what is BEA?
Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) is a holistic consulting approach. Working with business processes, corporate data, and the supporting IT applications and infrastructure has become a core element of the standard toolkit of CIOs and their teams. What is still frequently missing, however, is systematic integration with decision-makers across the broader organization—particularly with those responsible for shaping new business models, redesigning processes, and driving overall corporate performance.
In the era of digital transformation, this integrated perspective is essential. Business and IT can no longer be treated as separate domains: business is IT, and IT is business. The traditional approach—making business decisions first and then determining how IT can implement them—is too slow and inefficient. Agile methodologies such as Scrum demonstrate the alternative: the pressure to transition toward digital business models demands that organizations embrace a fully integrated perspective and consistently leverage Business Enterprise Architecture in daily practice.
